Want to become a Catholic or to find more about our faith? The RCIA Programme (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults), starts on Monday 30th September at 7.30pm in Hartley Hall. Please come and see if this is for you. If you are a parishioner, be brave, invite friends, family members and acquaintances to take the opportunity to look at their lives and maybe find some answers to the big questions. Come and see!
If you are interested please speak to Fr Antony, look at the parish website to find out more about the RCIA and download the application form or contact [email protected]

Live Streaming: Our parish will routinely provide live streaming of Mass, especially the 11.30am Mass on Sundays, from 15th September. For the time being, only the sanctuary will be seen in the streaming. This can be zoomed out to the first pew when we celebrate weddings, Baptism, funerals and so on. This will be a great help for those housebound, parishioners now living in other parts of the world and for those family members whose beloved ones’ sacraments are celebrated here in Holy Cross. To access this, kindly log on to our parish website or click: https://www.holycross-catford.org.uk/livestreaming.php

All altar servers and readers who are below 18 years old must get your parents’ consent if you want to serve at the altar or to do the readings at 11.30am Mass on Sundays. You may find the forms in the sacristy.

Parish Mass Books will be introduced in our parish from December. This book contains the Order of the Holy Mass, many prayers and all readings of the Holy Week liturgy, Christmas and important feasts. Any suggestions, kindly bring it to Fr Antony.

Wedding Blessings: We congratulate Mr Luke and Mrs Olamide Sanderson on their marriage yesterday here at Holy Cross church. Now you have become one in Christ, we wish you more joy and blessings, and many years of happiness together.

Sacrament of Confirmation: Please note the deadline for your letter to reach Fr Antony is this Wednesday [25th September]. If you are starting Year 9 in September and feel it is time to take the next step in your life of faith, we will be starting our journey towards the Sacrament of Confirmation in October.  Please write a letter with your full contact details (including full name, address and especially your email address) to Fr Antony explaining why you want to receive this important Sacrament of the Holy Spirit.  The first meeting will be on Friday 27th September at 6.30 pm in Hartley Hall.
