TTT (16TH AUGUST): 'FOOD & MOOD'
Session with Theresa Webb, Nutritional
Consultant. Learn about how healthy eating can enhance mental wellbeing, help
prepare a healthy meal and then enjoy eating it. 6pm introduction, Q&A;
6.30 meal preparation, with information about health and nutrition as we go;
7.30 group meal. We have usual arts and crafts opportunities and board games
going on as well, and a singing for relaxation session after the meal... plus
tea and coffee and a few snacks for any non-healthy eaters. ALL welcome. To

residential weekend in Aylesford Priory and this a workshop, away from the
pressures of day to day life, can help. It is a time for quiet prayer, talking
and acceptance.

SVP is seeking to recruit a Young Vincentians Programme Manager, and a Mini
Vinnies Officer as part of the expansion of our youth programme.
Young
Vincentians Programme Manager: £30k pa; full time permanent contract. Closing

ST JOHN’S SEMINARY- WONERSH…CAN
YOU HELP?
The
Seminary, near Guildford (which has been involved in the formation of priests
for over 125 years) is looking for some help with the cost of re-decoration and
refurbishment of 30 of its bedrooms which haven’t been upgraded for 40+ years.
Some of the furniture is 70 years old and carpets and curtains are close to
disintegration. There are no funds available for this much needed work. If you

The Letter to the
Ephesians urges us to be mindful that part of our life together in the
Eucharist means being kind to one another, compassionate and forgiving, just as
Christ has forgiven us. What can we do this week to show our kindness,
compassion and forgiving attitude toward others in our family of faith? How can
we be even better stewards of our faith community, what St. Paul refers to as
“Imitators of God?
