Life:
“Our defence of the innocent unborn, for example, needs to be clear, firm and passionate, for at stake is the dignity of a human life, which is always sacred… Equally sacred, however, are the lives of the poor, those already born, the destitute, the abandoned and the underprivileged, the vulnerable infirm and elderly exposed to covert euthanasia, the victims of human trafficking, new forms of slavery, and every form of rejection”. Pope Francis in Gaudete et Exsultate (no 101)

Stewardship Reflection.
How would you spend your day if you knew it was the last day you would spend on earth? Undoubtedly, it would not be a normal day. The point of today’s Gospel reading is that the end-time is always imminent. The good steward remains prayerfully alert, ready to give an accounting; and living each day in the awareness of the coming judgment and salvation. How do we exercise stewardship over our daily lives? Are we prepared to give an accounting? How will we allow Christ to work in and through us to prepare for the reconciliation of the heavens and the earth?
PLEASE NOTE
There is no parent & toddler group on Monday (19th November)
TTT - A Big Thank You
A huge thank you to all who voted for TTT at the Catford Local Assembly last week - we were successful! We have also been selected to receive funds from the co-op community fund. We would be very grateful if you would sign in to your membership at www.coop.co.uk/membership or telephone 0800 023 4708 with your card number and select us as your chosen cause, as this will result in a larger amount available to pay for  activities in the group. Thank you.
