THINKING ABOUT SEPARATION OR DIVORCE?
Is your marriage or that of a relative or friend heading for divorce? Do you know how to save that marriage? Or do you feel helpless? Retrouvaille (pronounced retro-vi with a long i) is designed to help troubled marriages regain their health. It helps spouses uncover or re-awaken the love, trust and commitment that originally brought them together. The programme is highly successful in saving hurting marriages, even bringing reconciliation to couples that have already separated or divorced. For confidential information about ‘Retrouvaille’, or to register for the programme commencing with a residential weekend on 14h – 16h September 2018. EMail [email protected] call or text 0788 7296983 0790 3380443 or visit www.retrouvaille.org.uk

Twentieth Sunday in Ordinary Time Weekend of August 18/19
Jesus announces that he is the “living bread.” And we understand that the Eucharist is the centre of our life in faith: in our families, parish, local church and throughout the world. We are the stewards of Christ’s life in the Eucharist. We are called to put the Eucharist into action. How do we do that? St. Paul enjoins us to be always grateful, to worship, to try to understand the will of the Lord and to watch carefully how we live. What are some of the ways we can put the Eucharist into action this week?
