EASTER LITUGIES
A big THANK YOU to everyone who helped make our Easter celebration so special: Those who cleared, prepared and decorated our Church so beautifully, those who constructed the Easter Garden, those who put together all the resources and equipment we needed, including the school playground, all involved in the music ministry, the huge number of readers, the Eucharistic ministers, the hard-working altar servers (and those who laundered their albs) and most especially all of you who came along to participate in our journey through Easter
Don’t forget to say ‘Alleluia Alleluia’ at the end of Mass!

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION PREPARATION
The next session is on Saturday 14th April at 10am sharp.
PRAYERFUL WALK
If anyone wishes to join the prayerful walk, visiting the parish housebound on Tuesday the 3 April we will be meeting for Mass at 9.15 and going straight from there. Finish by 2pm.

The Rosary On The Coast
The aim of this prayer initiative is to seek the intercession of our Blessed Lady by reciting the Rosary for a renewal of faith and respect for human life, and for peace in our country.
The inspiration comes from the people of Poland who conceived the idea of surrounding their country around the coasts and borders with a concerted barrage of prayer. Last year this was taken up by Ireland and now it is our turn.
We are very aware of the increasing secularism and moral decline in society. It is fifty years since the passing of the Abortion Act which came into effect on 27 April 1968 resulting in the destruction of nearly nine million children. We have experienced terrorist attacks and natural disasters and face an uncertain future. We need Divine assistance. God has assured us that:
If my people who bear my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my presence and turn from their wicked ways,                                                           I myself will hear from heaven and forgive their sins and restore their land. 2 Chron 7:14.
The Rosary has been given to us as a powerful weapon to fight the darkness of our times and to pray for Peace in our world. The saints have called Our Lady ‘the terror of the demons’ and Jesus, Our Lord and Saviour, has entrusted each of us and our world to Her Motherly care. Our faith teaches us that it is through the supernatural movement of grace and prayer, invoking the powerful intercession of Our Lady, that evil is brought down with goodness and peace being restored.
Let us then take this opportunity to surround our nation with prayer at 3.0 pm on Sunday 29 April. Many will go to the coast to do so. A tidal river such as the Thames as it flows though London may be seen as an extension of the coast. For those who are far from the coast might consider meeting in the parish church,   the housebound can join in as well
See:  www.rosaryonthecoast.co.uk
If you are already planning a group trip make yourselves known so that others can join you.
