Please pray for the repose of the soul of
Margaret Jones (Peggy) who passed away this week.
Peggy arranged the church flowers for 20 years at Holy Cross, she was also the
housekeeper to Fr John Mulligan and a Teaching assistant at Holy Cross School
for many years.
Some of you may also remember Michael Larkin who
passed away on Christmas Day. Michaels’ funeral will be on the 24th
January at 10am St Joseph’s in Bromley. Peggy’s funeral date has not yet been
confirmed.
Eternal rest grant unto them O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon
them and may they rest in peace. Amen

please pray and fast for the end of abortion and euthanasia in this Country.
Your prayer and fasting is urgently needed, and it really does save lives. Please
also pray that buffer zones around abortion centres won’t be introduced.’

If you wish to apply for the January course please complete an application form (these are
situated at the back of the church). Attach a COPY of the long version of your
child’s BIRTH certificate and a copy of your own baptism certificate and submit
it to the parish office by the 10th January. The next course (if you
miss this) will be in March
