Stewardship: During Lent we have our ‘Holy Cross” on the sanctuary once again. This year we think about Treasure, and you will be invited to make a Lenten promise to make space in your heart for God by using your treasure for the love of God and others. Over the coming week think how you will do this. You are also invited to actively support the mission of the parish, if you are able to gift aid your offertory. Please take a pledge card and leaflet home with you.  “For it is by giving that we receive.”  St Francis

The Book of Leviticus
is hard to read.  It consists of various laws that God gave to the Israelites through Moses as rules for the covenant which he had made with them.  These laws can be understood as footnotes to the Ten Commandments.  They explain how the Commandments can be lived in society. The Book shows us the practical ramifications of living out God's commandments.  It also impresses upon us the utter holiness of God who ought to be approached with careful preparation and who desires the total surrender of his followers.

Pray for the sick:
Let us pray for the sick including Pat Doyle, Gloria Israel, Mariam Philomin, Rose Calver, Joan Loughnane, Agatha Lewis, Myra Hannon, Elizabeth Goba, Florence Nosegbe, Gala Lobo and Ann Whitington.
