fixed term contract. The role is to
provide ongoing support and administration of the parish office; take
responsibility for Hartley Hall bookings; operate the Diocese’s online
accounting systems; liaise with volunteers and lay ministers; liaise with
Holy Cross School. The ideal candidate will have previous secretarial

and an excellent working knowledge of main IT products (e.g. Outlook, Word,
Excel, etc) are essential. Terms: 10
hours per week – actual hours/days to be mutually agreed; £10.00 per hour. If you would like to apply please email a

Our Parent and
Toddler group has been a popular and invaluable resource for families in the parish
and wider community for several years. This is largely due to the selfless
dedication of Eileen Hanlon, who has devoted her time, talents and energy to
leading and facilitating the group and supporting numerous parents/carers on
two mornings a week. We thank Eileen for her service to our parish community. Sadly,
numerous appeals in recent months for volunteers to help keep these sessions
running has generated not much response and therefore the group will now run on
Mondays term time only - commencing 9th September.
Holy Cross School has Nursery places available for children aged 3 and 4. We offer
part-time and full-time places in our fantastic Nursery. Please call the School
on 0208 698 2675 for further information.
R.I. P: Kindly pray for the peaceful repose of

Also, pray for Fraulene Marjorie London whose funeral mass will be on
the 26th September at 11.30pm. May they rest in peace.
Fr John Mulligan Memorial Stained Glass

remember and pray for Fr John Mulligan as we offer Mass on the 1st
Anniversary of his death this Saturday [7th september] in our
parish, we bless and dedicate a stained glass window in the front porch in
memory of him after the 6.30pm Mass. Many thanks to Tony Early and family for
donating this window.
