Introduction of SUNDAY MISSAL in our parish
Designed to help anyone prepare for Sunday Mass and take an active part in its celebration, this Missal contains a short introduction to the special character of each Sunday, and the Mass text is laid out in a straightforward way. This Missal has a leatherette cover, gold-embossed lettering, colourful ribbons and high-quality Bible paper which means that it should become a treasured companion for a lifetime. The texts for all Sunday services in the Roman Catholic Church for the three-year cycle are included in this Missal. Alongside these are a number of additional resources, including the two Eucharistic Prayers for reconciliation, and four for Masses for various occasions. The main ordinary texts of the Mass are also given in Latin. Additionally, you may find an original prayer for each day of the week, a selection of litanies and prayers by St Alphonsus Liguori including his Stations of the Cross, etc.
Original cost is £19.95 but we have got an offer for £5. When you buy, please be generous. Any additional money you give will be used to give the Missal for free to the needy. It will be available for you to obtain from next weekend.
We encourage everyone to have a personal copy and it will be a blessing for you not only to prepare for the Holy Mass but also to meditate and pray the Word of God

- With respect to the current situation with the omicron variant it is important to ensure the following points are followed in our churches:
- That people displaying any symptoms of covid-19 should stay at home and not travel to church or participate in person.
- That hand sanitiser is used by everyone attending the Church.
- Concerning face masks, some form of face covering will be required in most public indoor venues, including places of worship. However, exemptions exist for various reasons: legitimate health reasons, as has always been the case.
- That there is good ventilation and air throughput in the building; in this case, because of climatic conditions, please do wrap up warmly when coming to the church as we may need to leave doors open.
- That a positive message encouraging people to get vaccinated and have the booster jab, when able, is delivered whenever possible.
- That people who are engaged in a form of pastoral ministry which involves ministry to the housebound, sick, and vulnerable, should take regular lateral flow tests to ensure they are safe to do so. These are free from the NHS.
- The Holy Mass is offered everyday via Livestream
- Diamond Club Magazine is available here
