Carol Service with an International Flavour,
will be in the church on Sunday, 15th December at 4pm, followed by mince pies
and mulled wine in the Hall. In addition to the usual well known repertoire, we
already have carols from the Nigerian, Tamil and Polish groups in our
community; if you would like to join in any of these, please speak to Fr
Antony. If you could help with a song representing e.g. the Caribbean or
Filipino members of the parish, please introduce yourselves. There will also be
a practice in church for the 'choir' on Thursday 5th and 12th December,
7.30pm. If you would like to take part, please come along.
Pray for the sick: Let us pray for the sick
including Mariam Philomin, Rose Calver, Charlie
Hyam, Agatha Lewis, Elizabeth Goba, Florence Nosgobie, Gala Lobo and Ann Whitington. Please pray for Anthony Sullivan who is
admitted to St Christopher Hospice. Also pray for Myra Hannon who has had a
stroke recently.
Children’s Mass Books: Parents are asked to encourage their young children to follow the Mass
using the new Children’s Mass Books. Please
place them at the back of the church before you leave.
All Readers
At Mass renew the commitment of
their ministry in all weekend masses this week. Applications for the new readers are welcomed
from those in the Parish. If you are aged 16 and above and wish to become a
reader at Mass, please fill in the form, which is available in the Welcome
Corner, and hand it over to Rob Dunbar or Fr Antony. There will be an
