You can find the Readings from here
All three readings this Sunday speak of ‘faith’ or a ‘trust in God’. In the second reading Abraham became the first to believe in the One True God. This was despite not knowing anything about God. However he was given signs—his wife Sarah giving birth even though she was beyond her childbearing years was perhaps the simplest, but he was also asked to leave his home and lead his people to the Promised Land. This is how God works—he asks for us to have faith, trust and take risks in order to move forwards.
Jesus similarly, in the Gospel, says we need to have faith and trust that God knows what is best for us, The three short parables show that we should always be ready for the call, for our Master’s return.
